Orange Garcia graduated with a degree in business, majoring in both management and economics from one of the top universities in the Asian region. After college, he was chosen for a Management Training Program offered by one of the leading firms in the food industry. Despite being the youngest in the group, he finished the program as its “top pick.”

Realizing that entrepreneurship might be a better fit for him than the corporate world, he put up a business pioneering in digital design and printing during a time when the technology was still unheard of in the Philippines. In less than four years, he was able to grow it into multiple branches operating in key cities, while partnering up with global brands such as Epson, Kodak, MTV and Sony to name a few.

Yearning to better himself, he decided to migrate to the U.S. where he was able to build a real estate and mortgage banking business from scratch. He grew its grassroots operations from a portable (read: plastic) table to one that occupies a 5,000-square-foot office space, managing around US $50 million in warehouse banking lines — all in less than two years.

Discovering his true calling as a nation-builder, he decided to give up a life of bliss in the U.S. to return to the Philippines to make a difference in his own simple way. His most recent business venture was turning around a bankrupt educational institution into one of the leading schools in the city. He grew its student population from 200 to more than 700 in less than five school years.

Recognizing that life-long learning is key to a life of success and significance, he recently joined his long-time mentor — top global leadership expert Dr. John C. Maxwell — as one of his certified speakers, coaches and teachers. Now fully centered on his purpose, he is pursuing his life’s work of building a country of nation-builders, one person, one family, and one community at a time.

Orange is currently finishing an International Executive MBA Program, still “courting and dating” his loving wife, Ella, for more than a decade now, and enjoying their newfound adventure of parenthood with their beautiful son, Jacob Gray.
